Brittany Aldean Issues Bold Statement About Maren Morris Feud

Brittany Aldean publicly addressed an online feud with Maren Morris.

On July 22, Brittany and her husband, Jason Aldean, appeared on the Try That in a Small Town podcast. The couple addressed a 2022 social media tiff between Brittany and Morris, among other topics.

In an August 2022 Instagram post, Brittany thanked her parents for "not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase," adding, "I love this girly life."

Morris clapped back on X, writing, “It’s so easy to, like, not be a scumbag human? Sell your clip-ins and zip it, Insurrection Barbie.”

A later Instagram Story saw Brittany making false claims about the “genital mutilation of children," per Entertainment Weekly.

Fast-forward to today and Brittany claimed on the podcast (at roughly the 28-minute mark) that Morris has "a group of friends here in Nashville that, they just have it out for me for whatever reason."

She continued: "To be so pro-woman and all the bulls---…You’re not, because I’ve never said a word to you and you come for me. Why? Because I’m an easy target? Because I’m a wife, and I don’t have a stage as a platform, but I have social media? For some reason, I offend them.”

Additionally, Brittany noted that Morris' jab made fun of her business (hair extensions), which she thought was hypocritical.

“But to me it’s, like, once again, going back to the feminist movement," she added. "Aren’t you supposed to be all peace, love and all inclusivity and all the things? Why are you coming for me like that about my business?”

Brittany then doubled down on her original sentiments, sharing, “I’m thankful that my parents didn’t say, ‘Oh, Brit. You love sports, you love Babe Ruth. Do you want to be a boy?’ That’s crazy!”

As of writing, Morris doesn't appear to have publicly responded to Brittany's latest remarks about their feud.
