Brooke Shields Gives Modern Twists to Power Dressing With Patchwork and Exposed Seam for Hosting Duties on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’
Brooke Shields steps in for guest hosting duties on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” on Monday and Tuesday in New York City. The longtime model and actress styled two distinct looks for her hosting gig, taking inspiration from suited styles and a recent runway look.
One of Shields’ hosting looks featured a suit with juxtaposing colors of gray and sand with pinstripe detail by KidSuper. The suited look featured wide-leg trousers with frilly details at the hem of the pants for an added touch of femininity.

Shields’ blazer included long sleeves and patchwork, with a pinstripe motif set wide apart. The “Mother of the Bride” star paired the look with a button-up shirt featuring a sharp collar and similar pinstripe motif to unite each element of the ensemble.
For her other look as guest host of “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” Shields looked to the runway for inspiration. The actress wore an embroidered look courtesy of KidSuper’s fall 2025 men’s ready-to-wear collection.
The black long jacket featured exposed embroidery with a face created on one side of the jacket, with roses on the opposite. The look, from KidSuper creative director Colm Dillane, made its debut during Paris Fashion Week last January.
“The first models swept onto the runway in earth-toned dusters and faded gear that wouldn’t have looked out of place in ‘Dune’ or ‘Mad Max.’ Gradually, the designer worked in more structure, with parkas, blousons and suits,” Lily Templeton wrote in WWD’s review of the collection. “Color-filled streetwear, silhouettes splashed with his artwork came next, and finally a trio of pristine all-white looks.”
Shields appeared on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” in January to discuss her new memoir “Brooke Shields Is Not Allowed to Get Old.” Shields styled a skirt suit look courtesy of designer Thom Browne for the occasion.
