Brooks Nader on 'DWTS’, Dating, and Staying Motivated in the Spotlight

Supermodel Brooks Nader is ready to trade in her bikini for ballrooms. That’s right, the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model has officially announced that she will be teaming up with Gleb Savchenko for season 33 of Dancing With The Stars and now she’s ready to talk about it.

First for Women recently got the chance to attend an exclusive Cane’s Fashion Week event where the model talked all things Dancing With The Stars, her dating life and how she stays motivated. Keep scrolling for more.

It turns out Nader — who is 27-years-old and originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana  — is no stranger to the dance floor.

“I used to dance in high school, so being able to dive back into something that I missed a lot is so much fun,” Nader said. “My partner, Gleb, is incredible and we have a great connection. I'm totally winning.”

“This is something that is so different from the dance that I grew up with, though,” she continues. “There are so many technical sides to ballroom dancing, the tango and the chacha, so I'm loving learning all about that. My first dance is [going to be] the tango, and you've got to stay level. You can't move your hips, and I just want to move my hips, so there are little things like that, those little nuances, that I get stuck on.”

The model also opened up about her competition, saying, “There are a couple of Olympic athletes in there and they're pretty good, obviously. And then there's Chandler [Kinney], a Disney star, and she's been dancing since she was a 3-year-old. So I'm, like, ‘Okay, nothing's going to be easy about this.’ But we love a challenge.”

How Brooks Nader stays motivated and her favorite version of self-care

Between modeling, her brand deals and now Dancing With The Stars, it’s a wonder Nader hasn’t gotten burned out yet. But according to her, burnout and finding motivation has never been a problem.

“It's easy to be motivated when it's clear what your goals are, what you want and if you have good people and sisters around you.”

Nader also joked that she’s “living an expensive lifestyle between New York and L.A., and someone's got to pay for it. I'm single, so it's me; there's really no other option.”

Still, the model finds time to practice self-care, revealing that her favorite thing to use is an “LED mask. I use it on planes, in the bath, everywhere. Wherever I can get it in, I'll do some self-care.”

Is Brooks Nader dating anyone?

Sadly, no, Nader isn’t dating anyone after her divorce from Billy Haire in May of 2024. She was briefly seen with Prince Constantine Alexios of Greece and Denmark in July 2024, but it turns out that didn’t go anywhere.

“All my sisters are single except for one, So it's fun to pretend we’re like Sex and the City without the sex part,” the model joked. “It's fun to be with all your sisters talking about all these dudes. The good, the bad, all of it.”

She also revealed that she thinks she is most like Samantha (Kim Catrell) in Sex and The City.

Nader has taken to social media, though, to post some flirty content with Dancing with the Stars partner Savchenko. Still, she assured the press that their relationship is strictly platonic — for now.

“I think that we have a really good connection as people, which is helpful on the dance floor because we are in sync, and we move as one. He's obviously a great guy and he's such a great teacher. I met him two weeks ago, but we'll see what happens over the next few months.”

What’s next for Brooks Nader?

Nader is planning on keeping busy the next few months, revealing, “ My sister is moving to LA with me for Dancing with the Stars, so she's going to lean into the LA lifestyle. We have some fun little TV projects and a lot of modeling stuff coming up, so it should all be exciting.”

She also said that she would be returning to Sports Illustrated, but this time, she won't have to do so in a swim search open casting call like before.
