Bruce Springsteen and E Street members to show artwork at Sea Hear Now in Asbury Park

E Street leads to the Transparent Clinch Gallery pop-up this weekend at the Sea Hear Now in Asbury Park.

Works by Bruce Springsteen, Max Weinberg, Jake Clemons with Danny Clinch, Jay Weinberg, Anthony Almonte, early Springsteen manager Carl “Tinker” West, and Springsteen guitar tech Kevin Buell with guitar luthier David Petillo will be on display in the Transparent Clinch Gallery pop-up tent, located in Bradley Park during the Sea Hear Now fest, which takes place Saturday, Sept. 14, and Sunday, Sept. 15 in Asbury Park.

Springsteen previously exhibited six photographs at the fest in 2022. Five of the six photos appeared to have been taken at a Race of Gentlemen event at the Jersey Shore, where participants race antique cars and motorcycles on the beach. Springsteen attended the 2017 edition in Wildwood.

Springsteen, who did not attend the 2022 Sea Hear Now, also unveiled a photographic self-portrait at the fest.

Jay Weinberg, who has filled in for his dad Max on occasion, is a visual artist when he's not behind the drums. He'll be at the pop-up at 3:15 p.m. on Sunday “with one-of-a-kind hand-embellished art prints of my paintings,” he announced on his social media.

Jay currently drums for Suicidal Tendencies.

Other musicians and notables who will have their artwork on display include:

• Kool and the Gang's Robert “Kool” Bell

• Gaslight Anthem members Brian Fallon and Benny Horowitz, with Stephanie Horowitz; Alex Levine and Alex Rosamilia; and band keyboardist Bryan Haring, with wife and noted city concert tech, Alexa Haring.

• Noah Kahan and Brenna Nolan

• The Black Crowes' Chris Robinson, with Camille Robinson

• Trey Anastasio with Clinch

• The Revivalists' David Shaw

• Grace Potter

• Guster's Ryan Miller and Brian Rosenworcel

• Passafire's Nic Kubley

All of the tent artwork is for sale, with a portion of sales going directly to local charities, according to the fest. The tent includes a small stage where impromptu performances take place during the fest.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will headline Sunday on the North Beach in Asbury Park. "Hurt Somebody” singer-songwriter Noah Kahan headlines Saturday.

The Gaslight Anthem, the Trey Anastasio Band, the Black Crowes, Norah Jones, 311, the Revivalists, Kool & The Gang, the Hives and more will play over the two days on the fest’s three stages on the North Beach and in Bradley Park.
