Bruno Mars will release the first single from his new album on Friday
Bruno Mars is back. Four years after the release of Unorthodox Jukebox, the singer announced Monday that his new album was finished and its first single is coming Friday.
Mars revealed the track's title, "24k Magic," through nine Instagram photos. "Excited to announce 24k Magic, out this Friday!!" he wrote in the final image of the collage. "You can call it my first single, but I call it the invitation to the party." The photos combined to show Mars looking down and wearing a white hat emblazoned with "XXIV k."
He later released the image on his Twitter account.

Unorthodox Jukebox was a breakout for Mars. It debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and later hit No. 1, becoming the singer's first album to reach that spot. Its lead single, "Locked Out of Heaven," was also a smash, landing atop the Billboard Hot 100 for six straight weeks.
