Busta Rhymes Gets Into Altercation With Nizzle Man At NYC Nightclub

Busta Rhymes was involved in an altercation with rapper Nizzle Man at a Manhattan nightclub this past weekend.

On Friday (Feb. 23), Busta was in attendance for Bronx rapper French Montana’s release party at Harbor nightclub for his new mixtape Mac & Cheese 5. He and his entourage reportedly got into an altercation with Nizzle man while inside of the venue.

Footage of the incident surfaced on social media on Saturday (Feb. 24), which shows Nizzle Man being dragged down the stairs of a VIP section of the club by security, with Busta and his entourage following closely behind.

As Nizzle Man manages to stand up, Busta Rhymes approaches him in a confrontational manner before he and his entourage forcefully lead Nizzle Man to another section in the club. Other patrons can be seen attempting to follow the melee, but are stopped from entering by security before the clip cuts off.

According to his official YouTube channel, Nizzle Man is a rapper, songwriter, and producer from Staten Island who has worked and performed alongside Squidnice, and late Memphis rapper Snootie Wild. The 23-year-old’s most recent music video, “True Magic,” has amassed over 400,000 views on YouTube since its release in September 2023 and he dropped his latest single, “Bamby,” on Friday (Feb. 23).

Last year marked yet another victory lap for Busta, as the rap legend received his flowers from the Hip-Hop community while continuing to service his fans with new music. In November, he dropped his eleventh studio album, Blockbusta, which includes features from Quavo, BIA, Young Thug, Blxst, Yung Bleu, Coi Leray, DaBaby, T-Pain, Burna Boy, Swizz Beatz, Chris Brown, Shenseea, and more.

The Brooklyn native was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2023 BET Awards in light of his contributions and influence to the rap genre. During his acceptance speech, Busta expressed his appreciation for his God-given talent and being able to hang with some of the best artists in history and hold his own.

“I’m going to say I am grateful that the blessing that has been bestowed upon me and this gift that I have been given and this fire that continues to burn as a passion in my soul, that allows me to get into any situation — from the stage to collabing with whoever — and making sure that I am far from the weak link,” he said.
