Busy Philipps Gets Emotional as She Celebrates Daughter Birdie's 16th Birthday: 'Absolutely No One Like You'

Busy Philipps is celebrating her daughter Birdie's sweet 16!
On Tuesday, Aug. 13, the Mean Girls actress, 44, shared a sweet carousel of photos on Instagram as she celebrated Birdie's 16th birthday. She posted 20 photos from throughout her 16 years, including adorable throwbacks of baby Birdie and some sweet recent snaps of the mother-daughter duo.
"??Happy 16th Birthday to my Bird??," Philipps, who shares her kids Birdie and Cricket, 10, with ex Marc Silverstein, wrote in her caption.
Her lengthy caption continued, "There is absolutely no one like you in the world, Birdie Leigh Silverstein. I’m forever in awe that you’re my kid (but also I’m SORRY but you’re SO MY KID- your RBF is proof)."

"You’re the absolute funniest, smartest, greatest, best with a mind like no one i’ve ever met before. Literally every person who has ever spent time with you would agree," she wrote.
With "Slipping Through My Fingers" by ABBA playing in the background of her post, she shared, "The fact that you played this song for me on repeat when i took you to boarding school and routinely make tiktoks just to make me cry only proves that you’re iconic."

"Here are 20 of the roughly 200,000 pictures that exist of you from the last 16 years. i love you more than anything in the world, my chicken ???," she concluded the post.
The mom of two also shared a video of herself talking about Birdie's birth on her Instagram Stories, holding back tears as she looked back on the milestone moment.
Back in May, the Girls5Eva actress shared even more throwbacks of her little ones on Instagram in honor of Mother's Day.
Writing "now and then" over and over again in her caption, Philipps ended it by writing, "then and now" as she included photos of her daughters from when they were younger and from just a few months ago.
