CAA’s Adam Berkowitz Fired After Groping Accusation by Bad Robot TV Executive
Former CAA TV agent Adam Berkowitz was fired by the agency after being accused of groping a Bad Robot executive’s crotch at an Emmys party, TheWrap has learned.
According to an individual familiar with the situation, the incident occurred at the agency’s party following the Emmy Awards last week. Berkowitz was accused of groping Ben Stephenson, the head of the TV department at J.J. Abrams’s production company Bad Robot.
“Bad Robot has a policy to respect the confidentiality of all of our employees and therefore will do everything within our power to ensure their safety and protect their privacy,” a representative for Bad Robot said in a statement, declining to comment any further.

CAA declined to comment.
Berkowitz has been at the agency since 1997, most recently overseeing the television department alongside Sonya Rosenfeld. His client list included a number of top TV writers including “House of Cards” creator Beau Willimon, “Entourage’s” Doug Ellin and “My Name Is Earl’s” Greg Garcia.
He also recently helped negotiate Kenya Barris’s exit from ABC and his subsequent new deal at Netflix.
