Candlelight Concerts will let Taylor Swift, Coldplay fans bask in glow of music among thousands of candles in De Pere
DE PERE - It’s not The Eras Tour, but it does have Swfties written all over it.
If hearing arrangements of Taylor Swift’s songs performed by a string quartet as it's surrounded by thousands of flickering LED candles in an intimate venue sounds dreamy, mark your calendars this summer.
Or, if you’re less “Cardigan” and more “Clocks,” there’s the same concept but with the music of Coldplay.
Fever, which bills itself as a “live-entertainment discovery platform,” is bringing its original programming to the Green Bay area for the first time with two of its Candlelight Concerts — one featuring the music of Swift and the other the music of Coldplay — at St. Norbert College in De Pere.

When and where are the Candlelight Concerts?
"Candlelight: A Tribute to Taylor Swift" is June 22, and "Candlelight: A Tribute to Coldplay" is July 19. There are two performances of each at 6:30 and 8:45 p.m. in the 200-seat Dudley Birder Hall in Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts, 315 Third St.
Who performs the concerts?
The one-hour concerts will be performed by the Listeso String Quartet, which features musicians from the Listeso Music Group, a boutique agency that books quartets across the country. There are no vocalists, although fans at some of the concerts have been known to sing along.
Tell me more about this whole Candlelight Concerts concept?
Fever first created the format of experiencing live music in performance spaces illuminated by candlelight (hundreds at some; nearly 4,000 for the Swift concert) as a classical music series featuring the works of such composers as Mozart and Chopin. Over the years, the concerts have expanded to include the music of popular artists like The Beatles, ABBA, Adele, Queen and Ed Sheeran as well as other genres and anime themes. Some of the concerts also include ballet dancers and aerial performers.
Fever books the Candlelight Concerts in more than 100 cities in the world, along with other immersive programming. A sampling of offerings from its website includes “The Empire Strips Back: A Burlesque Parody,” “Titanic: The Exhibition” and dining in the dark experiences.

How much are tickets and where can I get them?
Swift tribute tickets are $71.50-$52, plus taxes, for the 6:30 p.m. performance and $65-$39 for 8:45 p.m. Coldplay tribute tickets are $71.50-$52 for the 6:30 p.m. performance and $68.50-$43 for 8:45 p.m.

Anything else I need to know?
Doors open 45 minutes before the show, with seating on a first-come, first-served basis within the seating zone for which you bought your ticket. Concerts are open to ages 8 and older. Anyone 15 or younger must be accompanied by an adult.
