Marvel Studios on Saturday at D23 Brazil released a new trailer for the Falcon and the Winter Soldier follow-up movie, Captain America: Brave New World, which is due out Friday, Feb. 14, 2025.
The Falcon (played by Anthony Mackie) officially picked up Captain America’s shield at the tail end of the Disney+ original series, kickstarting his brand-new role in the MCU.

“After meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford in his MCU debut), Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident,” the official logline tells us. “He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.”
Speaking of “seeing red,” the new trailer gives new, extended looks at a Red Hulked-out Thaddeus. Elsewhere in the trailer, Sam reunites with Falcon and Winter Soldier‘s Isaiah Bradley (Alias‘ Carl Lumbly), one of the original Super Solders, who has an ominous warning for the new Cap.
In addition to Mackie, Ford and Lumbly, the Brave New World cast includes Danny Ramirez (Top Gun: Maverick), Shira Haas (Bodies), Xosha Roquemore (The Mindy Project), Giancarlo Esposito (Parish), Liv Tyler (9-1-1: Lone Star) and Tim Blake Nelson (Watchmen).
Esposito, it was announced at San Diego Comic-Con in July, is playing Seth Voelker aka Sidewinder, the King of the Serpent Society.
Julius Onah directs, while Kevin Feige and Nate Moore produce. Louis D’Esposito and Charles Newirth are also on board as executive producers.
