Cardi B And Offset Spotted At Same Club Amid Messy Divorce
Cardi B and Offset may not be on the best terms romantically, but the estranged couple are both healing from their relationship at the club.
On Sunday (Oct. 6), both Cardi and Offset were seen at The Stafford Room in New York City. They arrived separately, with the Bronx native showing up and walking into the revelation that the father of her children was also there.
She was seen dancing with her entourage, but according to TMZ, the former couple didn’t interact with each other and didn’t linger at the club for long.
Bardi filed for divorce one month before she gave birth to her and Offset’s third child together.
However, she announced that she was expecting the same day as the filing.
“With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you,” the Invasion Of Privacy rapper wrote on Instagram. “You have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”
An insider close to the couple reportedly told Page Six that she’d be seeking primary custody of their children, but didn’t blame their split on the former Migos member’s alleged infidelity. “They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else. This is something she wants to do,” the outlet noted.
Cardi later denied rumors that their latest breakup was a publicity stunt.
“Why is it when I separate myself and my baby father, it’s a publicity stunt but every single time that the n***a was doing him and y’all wanted to throw it in my face, it wasn’t a publicity stunt?,” the Grammy winner questioned. “Every single time that a new b***h would come around or a new rumor would come around, y’all be the first ones laughing and gagging. That wasn’t a publicity stunt. But when I leave, it is a publicity stunt… Y’all just mad that you can’t throw a n***a’s [cheating] in my face anymore. That’s the issue.”
