Cardi B says she was hospitalized and will miss performance at Atlanta music festival
Rapper Cardi B said Wednesday she is recovering from a medical emergency and will have to miss her performance at an Atlanta music festival this weekend.
"I'm so sad to share this news, but I've been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I wont be able to perform at ONE MusicFest," she wrote Wednesday afternoon on Instagram.
"It breaks my heart that I won't get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there," she added. "Bardi Gang - thank you for understanding and I'll be back better and stronger soon."
Cardi B, 32, shared no details of the medical emergency or her current condition.
She ended the Instagram message by saying, “Don’t worry. Love yall.”
She had been set to perform at ONE MusicFest, a two-day music festival held this weekend at Central Park in Atlanta's Old Fourth Ward neighborhood, according to the festival's website.
She was set to perform Saturday, along with Earth, Wind & Fire, Nelly, Fantasia, Ari Lennox and other artists. Gunna, Jill Scott, Victoria Monét and Glorilla are among many of Sunday's lineup of performers.
Cardi B announced the birth of her third child, a girl, with rapper Offset last month. They are going through a divorce.
