Carly Pearce Debuts Short Hairdo in Sculptural Christopher Esber Gown for 2024 CMA Awards Red Carpet
Carly Pearce favored a white-hot, monochrome look for her red carpet attire at the 2024 CMA Awards on Wednesday in Nashville. The country singer and songwriter was among the high-profile guests who attended the annual awards show, alongside Colbie Caillat, Kacey Musgraves and more.
For the occasion, Pearce opted for a white gown courtesy of Christopher Esber. The halter gown featured a plunging, squared neckline made of piqué and silk-crepe, creating a contemporary sculptural silhouette.

The floor-length gown also featured a small train, which cascaded on the red carpet behind Pearce as she posed for photos. When it came to her accessories, Pearce opted for a variety of rings, statement earrings and stacked bracelets in silver. Pieces of her jewelry were provided by Simon G. Jewelry.
As for her glam, Pearce showed off her freshly cut new hairdo, featuring her chestnut hair grazing her collarbone. Pearce’s makeup featured bold brows, a smokey eye and a pop of color thanks to a glossy, bubblegum pink lip.
This isn’t the first country music awards show where Pearce has gone for one particular color palette. In April 2023, Pearce attended the CMT Music Awards wearing a delicate black dress with elbow-length sleeves and a scoop neckline with thigh-high slits on both sides of the skirt. Pearce coordinated the look with crystal-embellished strap black pumps.
Pearce follows a major trend of monochrome dressing that’s been styled on the red carpet throughout 2024. Celebrities like Naomi Campbell, Melissa McCarthy and Lupita Nyong’o wore their own iterations of monochrome dressing for various events, awards shows and premieres.
The 58th Annual CMA Awards, hosted by Luke Bryan, Peyton Manning and Lainey Wilson, celebrates country music stars’ achievements in the genre. Morgan Wallen is nominated for seven awards, including Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. Performers for the evening include Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton and Post Malone, among others.
