Cartman Goes on Ozempic in ‘South Park: The End of Obesity’ Trailer, Coming to Paramount+ in May
Paramount+ has unveiled a teaser for its seventh “South Park” streaming special, “South Park: The End of Obesity,” which premieres on the streamer May 24 in the U.S. and Canada, and May 25 in Australia, Latin America, Brazil, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
In “The End of Obesity,” weight loss drugs take the quiet mountain town of South Park by storm. When the overweight, foul-mouthed Eric Cartman is denied access to the medicine, he recruits Kyle, Stan, Butters and Kenny for help.

In the teaser trailer, Cartman laments his size in the mirror while his friends run lab experiments in lab coats and goggles, preparing him to take the drugs. “We’ve been out navigating the American healthcare system,” says Butters. “I almost died!”
Paramount+ has released six other streaming exclusive events: “South Park: Post COVID,” “South Park: Post COVID: The Return of COVID,” “South Park: The Streaming Wars,” “South Park: The Streaming Wars Part 2,” “South Park: Joining the Panderverse” and the recently released “South Park (Not Suitable For Children).”

“South Park” first debuted on Comedy Central in 1997 and has been renewed through 2027. The renewal will take the show through its 30th season on the air. Episodes of “South Park” can be watched on Comedy Central, the Max Amazon Chanel and HBO Max.
“South Park: The End of Obesity” is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios. “South Park” is co-created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, who both serve as executive producers, along with Anne Garefino and Frank C. Agnone II. Eric Stough, Adrien Beard, Bruce Howell and Vernon Chatman are producers.
