It's been 25 years since Haley Joel Osment uttered that famous phrase.

The Sixth Sense, which premiered on Aug. 6, 1999, starred Bruce Willis as child psychologist Dr. Malcolm Crowe and Osment as his patient Cole Sear. The cast included other child actors just getting their start, like Mischa Barton, plus A-list stars like Donnie Wahlberg (not long after after New Kids on the Block took a break) and Toni Collette, who would soon make her Broadway debut.

Now, see what the film's stars have been up to over the last 25 years!

Bruce Willis had already solidified his superstar status when it came time to star in The Sixth Sense after leading 1988's Die Hard. After his turn as the child psychologist in the 1999 film, he continued with roles in films like The Whole Nine Yards (2000), Sin City (2005), Live Free or Die Hard (2007), Red (2010), Moonrise Kingdom (2012), Paradise City (2022) and the Detective Knight series.

Beginning in 2019, Willis starred in a string of 15 action films over the course of two-and-a-half years before Willis' family revealed in 2022 that the actor had been diagnosed with aphasia and that he would be "stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him." In February 2023, his family shared that he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.

Willis is dad to adult daughters RumerScout and Tallulah, whom he shares with ex-wife Demi Moore, and daughters Mabel and Evelyn with wife Emma Heming Willis. Adding to his role of girl-dad, Willis also became a girl-grandpa in 2023 when Rumer welcomed daughter Louetta.

With a few roles under his belt as an actor, including Forrest Jr. in the 1994 classic Forrest Gump, Haley Joel Osment was cast as Cole Sear in The Sixth Sense. Since delivering that iconic line, "I see dead people," Osment continued to act, though stepped a bit out of the spotlight to do so and moved to New York after turning 18 to study experimental theater.

“I did work that practically nobody saw for a long time, which was not a great career move – but, ultimately, was important for me to figure out whether this was what I truly wanted to do for the rest of my life," Osment told The Guardian.

He has since appeared in 2000s favorites Alpha House, Future Man, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, Somebody I Used to Know and The Kominsky Method and lent his voice to various projects including Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie, Family Guy and Megamind Rules!

He will appear in the upcoming Zo? Kravitz-directed Blink Twice alongside Channing Tatum and Alia Shawkat.

When Toni Collette landed the role of Osment's onscreen mom Lynn Sear she already had various film and stage roles on her résumé. Following her Oscar-nominated performance, Collette landed a string of early aughts roles including Dinner with Friends, About a Boy, The Hours and Little Miss Sunshine — to name a few — as well as originating a role in the Broadway production of The Wild Party in 2000, which earned her a Tony nomination.

In 2009 she began her tenure as the titular character on United States of Tara before returning to Broadway in 2014 inThe Realistic Joneses. In 2018, she starred in Hereditary and the following year appeared in Knives Out. More recently she appeared in the HBO Max mini-series The Staircase and The Power on Amazon Prime.

Before appearing as the brief but critical role of Vincent Gray in The Sixth Sense, Donnie Wahlberg was known far and wide as a member of New Kids on the Block. Because the band had gone their separate ways a few years prior, in 1994, Wahlberg had started pursuing a career in acting.

After The Sixth Sense, Wahlberg appeared in Band of Brothers, Boomtown and in 2010 began his time as Danny Reagan on Blue Bloods — a character he still plays today. On the music side of things, Wahlberg and the rest of NKOTB reunited in 2008 for comeback album "The Block." This summer, the band hit the road for The Magic Summer 2024 Tour.

In 2014, Wahlberg married Jenny McCarthy and shares sons Xavier and Elijah with his ex Kimberly Fey.

After The Sixth Sense, Williams continued to land roles in films like Peter Pan, An Education and The Ghost Writer as well as shows like Dollhouse and Manhattan.

More recently, viewers saw her transform into Queen Camilla on seasons 5 and 6 of The Crown.

Williams has two daughters, Roxana and Esme, with Rhashan Stone, per The Guardian.

Before appearing as Marissa Cooper on The O.C. starting in 2003, Mischa Barton was a child actor who had roles in All My Children, Notting Hill and then,The Sixth Sense.

After her character's tragic death in season 3 of the teen-drama, Barton departed the series. She would later claim it was because of "bullying" behind the scenes and has since opened up about the "trauma" she endured from early fame.

She landed a handful of other movie and TV appearances following The O.C. and in 2016, she competed on Dancing with the Stars and joined the cast of The Hills: New Beginnings in 2019. Most recently, she landed a recurring role on the Australian soap opera Neighbours.
