Cee Lo Green's TBS show, The Good Life, which focused on the singer reuniting with his first group Goodie Mob for their first new album in 14 years, has been canceled amid controversy following the singer's inflammatory Tweets about rape over the Labor Day weekend, Deadline reports.
The singer and former judge on The Voice, who left the show in February, was in court Friday stemming from charges that he allegedly slipped the drug ecstasy to a woman in 2012. Green pled no contest to the charges.
Sunday, he made a series of comments about rape and consent on Twitter, which reportedly read, in part, "People who have really been raped REMEMBER!!!" Green later deleted the Tweets, then temporarily deactivated his entire account, before reactivating it Tuesday and issuing an apology.

TBS has already removed its online page for The Good Life. The unscripted show's six-episode first season wrapped July 28.
Green won a Grammy for his 2010 hit "Forget You." CBS reports that he had been working on a new album, tentatively – and ironically – titled Girl Power.
How the controversy will affect the "several other projects" with NBC that Green spoke of in February remains to be seen.
