‘The Chainsmokers’ headlining A&F Challenge in September
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – A big announcement was made this morning on NBC4 Today. The line-up for this year’s A&F Challenge includes Grammy award-winning group “The Chainsmokers” headlining the show.
The group has worked with some of the best in the music industry, creating songs like “Something Just Like This”, ‘Closer” and “Don’t Let me Down.” Also gracing the stage this year is Bebe Rexha who is known for collaborating with several EDM artists like Martin Garrix and David Guetta.
The Challenge is a festival-meets-fundraiser that is held every year in New Albany. It benefits several organizations and with more than $42 million raised over 21 years this year might be the biggest year yet
“We are so excited to host this year’s challenge. The Challenge has been something we’ve done year over a year at Abercrombie,” said Anna Ankenbauer of Abercrombie & Fitch. “We are embarking on our 22nd annual challenge this year and support of six beneficiaries all coming together to support mental health and youth, teens and young adults.”
Get out and do something this weekend in central Ohio, June 27-30
This year the challenge will benefit the Trevor Project, the Academy Group, Glsen, the Steve Fund, Rare Impact Fund and Serious Fun Children’s Network which has Flying Horse Farms locally.
“These organizations have been our partners for many years,” Ankenbauer said. “We are really excited to onboard the Rare Impact Fund as our newest beneficiary, and all of these organizations incredible work that they do to support future generations.”
Attendees will learn about the organizations while enjoying a night full of music, food, beverages and unique opportunities at the A&F Home office. The Challenge will take place on Sept. 20 and tickets are available now at www.anfchallenge.org.
