Chamberfest Cheboygan series kicks off at the Opera House May 13
CHEBOYGAN — The Cheboygan Opera House will kick off Chamberfest Cheboygan, a series of eight classical music performances, at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 13 with the Ariel String Quartet.
The Chamberfest series continues this summer with a diverse line-up of performers:
May 27: 7:30 p.m. — Janice Carissa, piano
June 4: 7:30 p.m. — Clayton Stephenson, piano
June 24: 7:30 p.m. — Hermitage Piano Trio
July 1: 7:30 p.m. — Ivalas String Quartet
July 7: 7:30 p.m. — American String Quartet
July 16: 3 p.m. — Daniel Adam Maltz, pianoforte
July 28: 7:30 p.m. — Cheng Squared Duo, piano and cello
Each of the concerts will be followed by a reception on stage, where the audience will be invited to meet the performers in a casual setting over light food and drinks. Full details about the performers and their programs can be found on the Opera House website.

For the second year in a row, the series will be recorded by Interlochen Public Radio for re-broadcast on their regional FM stations.
“We’re grateful to Interlochen Radio for serving as our media sponsor for this series,” said Owen Goslin, executive director of the Cheboygan Opera House. “Thanks to their support we will be able to share this outstanding series with thousands of radio listeners across our region.”
