Anora arrives on Hulu March 17
The day after Anora nearly swept the Oscars, the Disney-owned streaming service Hulu announced that the Brooklyn-set comedy will start streaming on Monday, March 17. It will join another Cannes Film Festival winner-turned-Oscar winner, Parasite, on the platform.

Anora won Best Picture, Best Director (Sean Baker), Best Actress (Mikey Madison), Best Original Screenplay, and Best Film Editing on Sunday night. Baker, whose previous films include Tangerine and The Florida Project, made history with four wins as producer, director, writer, and editor of the low-budget indie film. No one else has ever won four Oscars for the same film.
Krysten Ritter cast in Dexter: Resurrection
Known for her roles in Jessica Jones, Veronica Mars, and Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23, Krysten Ritter is now set to join the cast of Dexter: Resurrection in the guest-starring role of Mia. She joins a cast that also includes star Michael C. Hall, as well as Uma Thurman, David Zayas, Jack Alcott, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Kadia Saraf, Dominic Fumusa, Emilia Suárez, Peter Dinklage, and James Remar as Dexter’s father Harry Morgan. Clyde Phillips returns as executive producer and showrunner.
This is the latest installment in the Dexter franchise that also includes Dexter: Original Sin, the prequel drama that shows Dexter's rise from student to serial killer. It was the most streamed series for Showtime in 10 years. The original run of Dexter earned four straight Emmy nominations for Best Drama Series (2008-2011). Michael C. Hall earned five nominations for Best Drama Actor for his performance, but he has yet to win at the Emmys despite victories at the Golden Globe and SAG Awards.
Charli XCX rules the 2025 Brit Awards
After collecting the first three Grammys of her career, British singer Charli XCX continued her winning ways at the British equivalent of the Grammys, the Brit Awards. The awards are decided by 1,200 representatives from the music industry including artists/creators, affiliates/trade associations, record labels, managers, press, media and journalists (print, online, TV, radio and social media), publishers, producers, retailers, concert promoters, venues, digital music services, and other savvy insiders.
Charli won Album of the Year for her critically hailed dance album Brat, defeating The Cure (Songs of a Lost World), Dua Lipa (Radical Optimism), Ezra Collective (Dance, No One's Watching), and The Last Dinner Party (Prelude to Ecstasy). She was also awarded Artist of the Year, Song of the Year ("Guess" featuring Billie Eilish), and Best Dance Act. Meanwhile, Chappell Roan prevailed twice: International Artist of the Year (over superstars like Beyoncé and Taylor Swift) and International Song of the Year ("Good Luck, Babe!"). Naked and Afraid: Sneak peek of inspiring survivalist ahead of March 9 season premiere
The survival series Naked and Afraid returns to the Discovery Channel on March 9, and it will make history with the first double amputee ever to appear on the show. Mandy, who lost both of her legs when she was struck by a locomotive, was the first female bilateral amputee to reach the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, and now she's going to spend 21 days in the rain forest of Belize. She continues to put her motto to the test: "Tell me that I can’t, and I will show you that I can."
Tate McRae takes No. 1 on Billboard 200 albums chart with So Close to What
Pop singer Tate McRae debuted atop the Billboard chart with her third studio album, which becomes her first album to reach the summit. It achieved 177,000 equivalent album units based on the combination of its traditional album sales, individual track sales, and online streaming performance. It achieved more units than any debut by a woman in five months, and it set new personal-best numbers for McRae in sales and streams. So Close to What knocked Drake and PartyNextDoor's $ome $exy $ongs 4 U to No. 2. Kendrick Lamar's GNX was at No. 3, followed by SZA's SOS at No. 4 and Sabrina Carpenter's Short n' Sweet at No. 5.
