Cher's Family Is Reportedly Concerned About Her Rekindled Relationship with AE Edwards for This Relatable Reason

Cher has had an on-again, off-again relationship going with Alexander “AE” Edwards, who just so happens to be 40 years younger than her. While the 77-year-old performer is celebrating that love can come at any age, there are reportedly a few family members who have concerns about Edwards’ intentions.

It seems that it was the 37-year-old music producer who hit the brakes on their relationship the first time around, so there are reportedly specific requirements to the reignited romance. Edwards is giving their dating situation another go, “but only on the condition they pace themselves this time around,” according to a National Enquirer source, via RadarOnline. That sounds like a noble move, but the insider is also revealing that Edwards seems to want to leverage his relationship with Cher to his advantage.
“The guy knows exactly what he’s doing, and his best friend Tyga’s in on it too. The fear is they’re going to ride Cher’s coattails for music connections, use her mansion for wild parties, and take full advantage of her credit cards,” they added. With the “If I Could Turn Back Time” singer in complete “giddy mode,” Cher’s sons, Chaz Bono, 54, and Elijah Blue Allman, 47, are side-eyeing their mom’s boyfriend.
