Childish Gambino includes Utah stop in world tour
SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — For the first time in 10 years, Childish Gambino will be making a stop in the Beehive State as part of his New World Tour to celebrate the surprise release of “Atavista,” a reimagined re-release of his album, “3.15.20.”
Childish Gambino, also known as Donald Glover Jr., is scheduled to play at the Delta Center in downtown Salt Lake City on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024. It will be his first show at the Salt Lake arena, having last played at The Complex in 2014.

A Delta Center spokesperson said tickets for Childish Gambino’s Utah show will go on sale on Friday, May 17 at 10 a.m. online here. Fans can also sign up for early access to tickets through the artist presale dates by visiting the tour’s official website.
Glover rose to fame with a successful acting and writing career in sitcoms including “30 Rock” and “The Community” in the 2000s and 2010s. Glover started his musical career under the stage name “Childish Gambino” in 2008. While Gambino had several award-winning hits over his career, his 2018 release “This is America” was critically acclaimed, topping the U.S. charts.
According to Spotify, Gambino continues to be a popular artist with nearly 24 million monthly listeners.
