Stonehill College alumni The Ballroom Thieves just released their fifth album in April and they're celebrating at The Sinclair in Cambridge. Back in Black's AC/DC tribute in Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke. Jazz fans want to check out Bruno Raberg's latest compositions with his Tentet at The RegattaBar in Harvard Square. The Spire Center in Plymouth has a cool night, with comics Mike Donovan and Christine Hurley, and TD Garden anthem singer Todd Angilly. The annual KISS-108 concert at Xfinity Center in Mansfield, with Doja Cat headlining. Kentuckey hardcore quintet Knocked Loose is at Roadrunner in Allston. The Assisted Living Band gets down at The C Note in Hull.  Americana stalwarts The Tarbox Ramblers sure to heat up the Narrows Center in Fall River. If you're in Newton, head's up for that city's Porchfest. Jake Swamp and The Pine is a brilliant but minimalist Americana act, at Brighton Music Hall. Folksinger Abigail Lapell at Club Passim in Cambridge. Kids Rock has sold out its sickle cell benefit at City Winery in Boston today, but there's another one Sunday. Jo Dee Messina opens the summer season at Indian Ranch in Webster; remember those are 1 p.m. shows.

Sunday starts early with the 2 p.m. Shady Roosters crowing at the Spire Center in Plymouth; Suzanne McNeil singing at 4 p.m. at The Voyage in Humarock; disco mavens Booty Vortex performing the postgame concert at the FreeJacks rugby game in Quincy; and the weekly blues jam at Players in Rockland running from 4-8 p.m. Country hunk Brantley Gilbert opens the season at Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis; while X-Ambassadors rock The Paradise Rock Club in Boston; and country singer Jo Dee Messina comes to The House of Blues in Boston.

JUNE 7:  The legendary and semi-mythical The Incredible Casuals do a rare show at The Midway Cafe in Jamaica Plain, with the Buttercups duo; while The Wicked Lo-Down bluesifies the night at The Fallout Center in Norwood.
