Chrissy Teigen Favors Latex in Ala?a’s Bodysuit and Pencil Skirt at 2024 ChainFEST Red Carpet
Chrissy Teigen added a layered twist to the sheer trend seen on red carpets throughout 2024. Attending ChainFEST 2024 in Los Angeles on Friday, the model styled a look combining this popular trend with an unexpected fabric choice.
For the red carpet event, Teigen opted for a look courtesy of Ala?a. The model wore a black latex bodysuit with criss-cross straps, which she paired with a sheer latex pencil skirt.

Complementing her bodysuit and pencil skirt ensemble, Teigen wore fishnet sandal heels from Ala?a and accessorized with gold jewelry, including Saint Laurent bracelets.
Her glam featured soft curls and a glowing makeup look with bold brows, smoky eyes, and a neutral lip. Stylist Alana Van Deraa curated Teigen’s look with assistance from Elise Miles.
Throughout 2024, sheer styling has been a major trend seen during various red carpet events. The style was prominently featured on such occasions as the ESPY Awards last July and the People’s Choice Country Awards last September.
The sheer trend has been a ubiquitous style choice for decades, not only seen on the red carpet but also on some of the most notable runways in the world. Dating back from the 1970s to various spring 2025 collections, sheer dressing and variations on the style have been omnipresent, with designers and fashion houses adding their own twists to the style.
Teigen is no stranger to the sheer trend, having put various spins on the style recently. She wore a sleeveless, see-through tulle gown with floral embellishments to the 2024 Accessories Council of Excellence Awards last May. Her Oscar de la Renta dress at the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in March also featured sheer elements.
