Chrissy Teigen learns an adorable lesson in female empowerment — from her 2-year-old daughter
Chrissy Teigen is never one to shy away from important conversations on social media. Whether it be taking shots at President Trump or chatting about her vagina treatments — oh yes, she went there — Chrissy keeps it real with her fans.
This week was no different, when the TV host shared an important lesson about female empowerment that she, surprisingly, learned from her 2-year-old daughter, Luna.
On Tuesday, Chrissy excitedly shared a care package stocked with goodies from NASA. The gifts included astronaut food, a tiny baby beanie for newborn Miles, and a child-sized spacesuit for Luna.
Chrissy captured the moment when Luna began to put on the suit, with a sweet twist.
I thought I was going to have this incredible female empowerment moment where Luna ripped her tutu off and replaced it with her space suit but sometimes a girl wants to be both pic.twitter.com/o3RT46fBeX

Many of Chrissy’s fans weren’t surprised by Luna’s choice to wear both the girly tutu and the science outfit — their daughters do the same! Parents began sharing photos and stories of their kids also bursting gender stereotypes.
Princess Astronaut, at your service.
She's seven and has not wavered from her goal of going into space. She is not distracted by her fantastic wardrobe. Go for it, Luna. One doesn't cancel out the other. ? pic.twitter.com/qvgbOZtCw4

My daughter, especially when she was younger, would go out in her princess dress and climb trees and play in the mud. I love that she was/is comfortable doing both!

Nothing wrong with that! My girl used to carry a sequin purse filled with a nerf gun and ammo. She would have kicked any boys' arse! She's both fancy and tough!
