Christina Aguilera Announces First Tour in More Than a Decade -- Details!
Christina Aguilera announced on Wednesday that she will be going on her first tour in over a decade to promote her upcoming album Liberation.
The aptly titled Liberation Tour starts Sept. 25 and will take the pop diva all over North America with 24 announced dates.
This will be her first official tour since the 2006-2008 Back to Basics tour.
Aguilera’s album will be available June 15, and the former Voice coach is clearly ready for the next stage of her career. The 37-year-old recently opened up to Billboard magazine about taking a break from the road to raise her kids, 10-year-old Max and 3-year-old Summer.

“Touring is so frightening to me, because I am a mom first. It’s part of why I stayed in the position I was [at The Voice],” she explained. “It’s easy to get comfortable and cushy in the same place and not have to worry about uprooting your kids. I’ve been putting myself on the back burner... [but] it needs to happen. I’m looking forward to getting back out and actually showing my kids what Mommy really does!”
The GRAMMY winner previously released her debut single “Accelerate” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and 2 Chainz along with a 14-track set list for her upcoming album.
Liberation will be Aguilera’s first studio album since 2012’s Lotus. Watch the clip below for more!
