"This was given to me by a legend," the "Bad Moms" actress said.

Christina Applegate was excited to talk about the moon necklace she was wearing in a recent interview.

The Dead to Me alum explained the jewelry was "the new version" of the necklace that Nicks has famously given out for decades. Applegate received hers "just recently," but the Fleetwood Mac singer has also given them to women including Taylor Swift, Chrissie Hynde, Vanessa Carlton, the Haim sisters, and writer-actress Tavi Gevinson, as well as Make-a-Wish children and injured soldiers. The idea is that the exclusive group are instructed to treat the necklaces as "lucky charms and to pass them along to another in need, should the moment arise."

Applegate told Corden that she met Nicks when the singing legend was on Up All Night, Applegate’s 2011-2012 NBC sitcom about parenthood, which costarred Will Arnett and Maya Rudolph.

"We did a fantasy music video to 'Edge of Seventeen,'" said Applegate, who has a recording studio at her home. "And she had to record at my house."
