Snoop Dogg is well known for his colorful and eclectic choice of footwear.
A pioneer of G-funk gangsta rap, Snoop, otherwise known as Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr., is a legend in his field. The rapper is, for many, the epitome of West Coast hip-hop culture. This title is well-documented in his street-style-inspired looks and penchant for vibrant sneakers.
Throughout his career, the performer has regularly laced up unique sneakers in a range of silhouettes and styles both on and off the red carpet, hailing from brands including Converse, Adidas, Nike and Skechers — with whom he collaborated on a sneaker capsule collection. For especially formal occasions, however, the “Doggystyle” musician often laces into brogues and wingtip shoes from brands including Stacy Adams.
In addition to Skechers, Snoop Dogg has also dropped co-branded shoes and capsule lines over the years with a range of brands, including Adidas, Philipp Plein and Duke & Dexter. In honor of the musician’s masterful style, FootwearNews is recounting some of Snoop’s best footwear looks over the years.
1994 MTV Video Music Awards in New York
During the 1994 MTV Video Music Awards, Snoop was wheelchair-bound. The star performed his hit song “Murder Was the Case” clad in denim low-top Converse, a blue flannel, black slacks and a signature gold chain.

A Converse lover through and through, Snoop sported a unique green, black and white colorway of the brand’s low-top style during Comedy Central’s Bar Mitzvah Bash in 2004. In a matching fashion, the rapper wore light gray and green sweats, a matching green satin bomber jacket and chains around his neck.
2010 BET’s “106 & Park” in New York
Switching things up, the performer donned Adidas Superstar 80s while at BET Studios in 2010. Additionally, Snoop wore a light blue tracksuit and an oversized brown and neon orange Adidas zip-up.
2015 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards in Beverly Hills
Back to basics, Snoop sported a pair of black and white low-top Converse at the 2015 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards in 2015. In a dapper fashion, the musician wore tan slacks, a matching tan vest and a light blue button-down fixed with a deep blue satin bowtie.
2019 at MGM’s “The Addams Family” Premiere in Los Angeles
Snoop changed his footwear game up in a pair of suede loafers in black for “The Addams Family” premiere in 2019. The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper paired his loafers with blue leather slacks, a blue and white t-shirt and chains.
2024 Milwaukee Brewers vs Cincinnati Reds Game
