Cody Rhodes says WWE is hotter than ever, and he’s happy to share with Roman Reigns, but the Undisputed WWE Championship is his.

Rhodes’ quest to finish the story took two attempts, as he lost to Roman Reigns at WWE WrestleMania 39 before he dethroned the champion at WrestleMania 40. Rhodes reigns supreme, but Reigns made his return at WWE SummerSlam, so both stars are now on WWE SmackDown again.

Cody Rhodes participated in a live signing at Fanatics Fest NYC, and he was asked to comment on Roman Reigns’ return. He noted that he was happy to share with Reigns. However, he said that the title was his. (H/t Jeremy Lambert of Fightful for the transcription)

“WWE and I don’t mean this in a braggadocious way, is currently the most popular it’s ever been,” Cody Rhodes said. “A considerable amount of that has to do with the Bloodline and Roman Reigns. There are people that think that forces cannot co-exist on the show. That’s crazy. WWE’s roster is the best that it’s ever been. I am happy and glad to share SmackDown, to share Raw, to share every PLE with Roman Reigns. However, [the Undisputed WWE Championship], belongs to me.”

Rhodes is set to defend his title against Kevin Owens at WWE Bash in Berlin.

Cody Rhodes previously said that a match with Roman Reigns had to happen. Check out his comments here.
