Created and written by the husband-and-wife team of Patrick Brammall (Evil) and Harriet Dyer (American Auto), Colin From Accounts‘ first season was a TVLine Dream Emmy nominee for Best Comedy and lead actress Dyer. It also won Gotham TV Awards for Breakthrough Comedy Series and Dyer’s performance, earned 10 total Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards (winning for Best Narrative Comedy Series), and Dyer scored an Australian Writers’ Guild Award for penning the episode “The Flash.”

Colin From Accounts Season 1 saw Gordon (played by Brammall) and Ashley (Dyer) brought together by a spontaneous nipple flash and the subsequent accident that injured the titular dog. Season 2 opens with Ash and Gordon now living together and trying to get their beloved, special needs dog back from his new owners.

“It’s the first in a series of hurdles for the new couple,” reads the synopsis, “as they find out more about each other, for better and worse.”
