During a September 2022 visit to SiriusXM, the actress — who appeared on Rachel Lindsay's 2017 Bachelorette season — said the latest two-contestant season of The Bachelorette was "a little wonky ... it was one of these weird things where you didn't even have time to invest in anybody's relationship because they were showcasing two separate people falling madly in love," she said. "And you're, like normally within the span of a season, you watch the people fall in love and you are invested. And here you never even got to watch them fall in love. It kind of just happened."

The actress went from skeptic to full-fledged fan after watching Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette and season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise.
"I never understood, I was like, 'what's the big deal?' But then the last two [seasons] were exciting," Benson told PEOPLE in September 2019 at an event hosted by Bachelor stars Becca Tilley and JoJo Fletcher.

"I'm addicted. I may have a problem. I'm sorry." Don't worry, watching The Bachelor just makes you even more cool.
The Girls star has never been shy about expressing her love for The Bachelor in all of its forms. And it's had a profound effect on her life, too: She met her now-ex husband, Ricky Van Veen, at a Bachelor viewing party — and he proposed there three years later! "I would not be married to my husband if it weren't for this show," she said. "We went to a weekly viewing party every week and it was like a big group date, but with both genders equally distributed. It was like how we met up."

Her marriage to Wells Adams, who's appeared on three different seasons of Bachelor programs.

Later, fans campaigned for Schumer herself to be The Bachelorette. She said she'd do it — if she got a "lot of money" and the freedom to be herself. (She's now happily married.)
Though Mayer says he'd enjoy being The Bachelor, he doesn't think the process would work for him. "I think it would be really fun to be the bachelor," Mayer told Ellen DeGeneres. "I don't think that I would find love there, unless they would change the vetting process for who would be the contestants." He also said that he thought it would be "one of the lowest-rated shows," to which we respectfully disagree.
Jones loves The Bachelor so much, she wants to be The Bachelorette herself. Specifically, to date Ben Higgins.
