Comedy heavy-hitters coming to Indy this fall include Kevin Hart, Mike Birbiglia, Jim Gaffigan
Fellow comedy nerds: listen up.
If you like going to live stand-up sets, there's no shortage of shows to check out as some decently heavy hitters bring their tours through Indianapolis this fall and winter. You'll see familiar faces from Saturday Night Live, Comedy Central, late night TV, various Adam Sandler films and a handful of comedy podcasts.
Here are just some of the highlights of this fall's comedy lineup in Indianapolis.
David Spade

Best known for his work on Saturday Night Live and for starring roles in films like "Tommy Boy" and TV's "Just Shoot Me" and "Rules of Engagement," Spade hosts the "Fly on the Wall" podcast with fellow SNL alum Dana Carvey. He'll bring his Catch Me Inside tour to Butler University's campus.

The Emmy-award winning comic, actress, writer and producer is known for her appearances in "Battle of the Sexes," "Wreck It Ralph," "The School of Rock" and "I Love You, America." She also appeared in Netflix's Academy Award-nominated "Maestro," about the life of Leonard Bernstein.

The Grammy-nominated and Emmy-winning comedian (and Hoosier native) will perform five shows during his stop in Indianapolis.

Mike Birbiglia

The comedian, writer and director is perhaps best known for his solo shows — "My Girlfriend's Boyfriend," "Thank God for Jokes," "The New One" and "The Old Man & The Pool" — which had successful on- and off-Broadway runs before becoming hit Netflix specials.
