Common, Michael Strahan to join John Legend at 2018 GOOD+ 'Evening of Comedy + Music'

Good tunes, good comedy and a good cause.

Jessica Seinfeld's GOOD+ Foundation has organized a stellar lineup for its Sept. 12 "Evening of Comedy + Music," with Common headlining alongside John Legend, Michael Strahan and Leslie Jones for the star-studded event.

Proceeds from the buzzy evening will go toward GOOD+'s mission of assisting low-income parents with the larger goal of reducing multi-generational poverty. And no, the crowd won't just be limited to major contributors -- tickets start as low as $125.

Jerry Seinfeld thanked the famous faces for offering their "time, talent and energy," adding that a "strong family is the most important influence in anyone's life."

This year's event is expected to raise $2 million to put toward families in need.

“Becoming a father made me see the world differently, and the love I have for my daughter is unparalleled,” Common said in a statement. “I’m passionate about our youth and making sure they with their families have the necessary items and tools to succeed, and that is why I am so proud to support GOOD+ Foundation and their groundbreaking work for a night of comedy and music.”
