Concert conversion: Entertainment space at Santa Fe Brewing Co. expands
Jul. 12—Bigger names and larger productions are coming to The Bridge entertainment space in Santa Fe.
The venue, located at Santa Fe Brewing Company's headquarters in the City Different, has expanded its stage area. The expansion will accommodate a grander concert experience for artists as well as eventgoers.
A roof was added to the new stage area earlier this month, and the project is expected to be completed by Saturday, July 20.
"So what the improvements have been is that now the stage is 40 feet wide, 30 feet in depth and four feet tall," said Evan Wrons, marketing director at Santa Fe Brewing Co. "It being four feet tall enables everybody at the venue to have a good view of the stage. That's really something we wanted to empower people to have, a good view no matter where they were facing at The Bridge. And what this also allows us to do, having this larger stage, now we can have much bigger productions. We can now book bigger acts, bigger national acts to come in.
"We're really hoping now to provide even better experiences for New Mexicans who want to see some great shows. You can still see the horizon and now you can actually see the artists from wherever you're at in the venue. We're really excited to have a better experience for concertgoers, but also to have better acts."
The Bridge has an exciting list of acts playing over the next few months. The current schedule of entertainment is Santa Fe Brewing Co.'s Desert Party on July 20, The Decemberists (sold out) on July 22, Big Head Todd and The Monsters on July 24, The Halluci Nation on July 27, Samantha Fish on July 30, UB40 (sold out) on Aug. 5, Orville Peck (sold out) on Aug. 6, Sierra Ferrell (sold out) on Aug. 18, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony on Aug. 29, Creed Fisher on Sept. 5, Wyatt Flores on Sept. 6, Black Uhuru on Sept. 12, Grace Potter on Sept. 21, Future Islands (sold out) on Sept. 22, and Soulja Boy on Oct. 9. An event schedule is available on santafebrewing.com/taproom/the-bridge.
"We have some great acts and so definitely, with this new stage and some of the new announcements, definitely get the tickets while you can," Wrons said. "What we're hoping to do is we're continuing to grow the experience at (Santa Fe Brewing headquarters). I'm really excited about not only the rest of this season, but we're gonna have some really great concerts next year as well and just continue to build on the space."
The Bridge, located across the parking lot from Santa Fe Brewing Co. headquarters' parking lot, is a multipurpose facility with both indoor and outdoor spaces, according to the Santa Fe Brewing Co. website. It is available for concerts, weddings, parties, company meetings and other events that require a space with a view and beer. Santa Fe Brewing Co. is the oldest brewery in New Mexico and has been in operation since 1988.
