Connie Talbot’s Stunning Voice Gets a Standing Ovation on ‘America’s Got Talent: The Champions’
Connie Talbot stole hearts back in 2007, when her incredible voice flung her into the finals of Britain’s Got Talent. The now-19-year-old is bringing her vocal abilities to America’s Got Talent: The Champions, and she didn’t come to play.
On Monday night’s (Jan. 27) episode, Talbot performed her romantic original song, “I Would” on the piano, which was met by a standing ovation from the judges. “Would you give all your life?/ If I gave you all of mine?/ Would you love me unconditionally/ Breathe the air I breathe/ Do anything for love?,” she belts in the chorus, perfect for a wedding first dance.

“I’ve always wanted for America to get to know you, get you know your talent, perform in front of an American audience and you nailed it,” he told her. “I think you did great.”
