Cordae Searches For Clarity In “Make Up Your Mind” Music Video
Cordae has issued the official music video for his latest single “Make Up Your Mind.” Co-written by the rapper himself as well as Lukasz Gottwald, Gamal “Lunchmoney” Lewis, Theron Thomas, and Rocco Valdes, the upbeat track tells the story of an indecisive romance.
“Said she love me, she love me not/ But she don’t got no damn clue about what she wants,” melodically rhymes the 26-year-old on the repetitive hook. The visual, directed by Loris Russier, brings the story to life.
“I just wanted to make a timeless song that makes people feel good,” explained the Grammy-nominated rapper in a statement.
“Make Up Your Mind” follows “Two Tens,” issued by Cordae earlier this year. The story-telling rap song features Anderson .Paak.
“We did that song like a year or two ago. That’s just my man’s in real life. That’s just my friend, and I don’t use that word loosely, especially in entertainment. That’s my man’s for real,” the “Parables” performer explained of the collaboration to Billboard. “We’re just always creating and making music.”
Furthermore, the duo may have a collaborative project on the way, produced by J. Cole. Cordae and Anderson .Paaks’ first official joint song came in 2019 with “RNP,” the third single from Cordae’s debut album The Lost Boy.
“We literally got a mixtape full of joints of me and Paak… Well, we got an EP full of joints with me, Paak, and Cole beats,” detailed Cordae.
