Dakota Johnson’s Best Red Carpet Fashion Moments
Let’s face it, we perk up immediately at the notion of Dakota Johnson making an appearance on the red carpet. Without fail, she rocks something that perfectly combines chicness, elegance, and flair. Whether it be a flowing ballgown or a sleek ensemble, Johnson can rock it all, and we have no doubt her looks throughout 2024 will continue to wow and amaze during press for her movies, Madame Web and Daddio.
Speaking of personal style, Johnson has worked alongside her longtime stylist, Kate Young, for literal years, and a few years back, Young spilled the deets on what it’s like styling Johnson.
In a rare previous interview with Vogue, Johnson’s longtime stylist discussed what the Fifty Shades of Grey star typically gravitates towards. “Classic, minimal, elegant, with just a little bit of fashion for the day. Dakota wants to be a disco ball,” she said, adding that she got her love for sparkle after seeing her mother, Melanie Griffith, in so many sparkling gowns over the years.
Young added that Johnson “likes clothes. Not all actresses do,” and that Johnson isn’t one for trends. “She is never like, ‘I need to wear this because I saw it on Instagram.’”
