'Dancing with the Stars' names a winner, and fans are here for it
On the season finale of Dancing with the Stars, it all came down to NFL star Josh Norman and Olympic figure skaters Adam Rippon and Tonya Harding. This should hardly come as a surprise given that three football players and two figure skaters have won in the past. And the season 26 mirrorball trophy went to Adam Rippon and Jenna Johnson. Fans were delighted, and many shared their joy on Twitter.

Adam and Jenna’s victory was by no means guaranteed. In fact, their freestyle performance fell flat. Over groans from the audience, Carrie Ann Inaba told Adam, “I don’t fault you for what you did, but I feel like I was missing something. You have led this competition with incredible dancing. And tonight … it was all about being in sync … and there were moments where I saw you blank out a little bit and watch Jenna, which I’ve never seen from you before.”
They rallied to claim the victory, however. And while many fans were happy Adam won, others were just happy Tonya didn’t.
Thank God Tonya Harding ddn’t win tonight!
