‘Dancing With the Stars’ Pro Artem Chigvintsev Arrested
Dancing with the Stars’ Artem Chigvintsev was arrested Thursday morning on charges of domestic battery.
The arrest took place in Napa Valley, Calif., putting the DWTS pro in the Napa County Jail and charged with felony domestic violence. The 42-year-old dancer was booked at 10:40 a.m. PT and is being held on $25,000 bail, according to a search of the jail's booking records.
More information will be forthcoming, as it is not clear as of this posting whether or not Artem’s wife former, WWE star Nikki Bella, now Nikki Garcia, was involved.

What is known is that Nikki was in Napa, where the couple owns a home, as recently as Wednesday from an Instagram post she made.

Artem and Nikki, who were married in Paris on August 26, 2022 after meeting on Dancing with the Stars, celebrated their wedding anniversary a few days ago.
The pair share son Matteo, who was born July 31, 2020.
Dancing with the Stars will be returning to ABC and Disney+ on Sept. 17 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, but a rep for the show says Artem will not be in the ballroom for Season 33, a decision that was made prior to his arrest. Artem competed last season with Bachelorette star Charity Lawson. They finished in fourth place.
