David Schwimmer helps police solve stabbing case

David Schwimmer: Friend, and now, crime-solver.
Early Monday morning, a fight broke out in the lobby of the building next to Schwimmer’s New York City residence. The brawl sent both men to the hospital — and shortly afterwards, Schwimmer offered to let the police take a look at footage from his security cameras so they could see what really went down. Admittedly, Schwimmer still isn’t at Ryan Gosling status — he would have had to actually stop the fight and, you know, be Ryan Gosling — but hey, a man can try.
Schwimmer’s security footage ended up being a big help, as it recorded the fight and may be used in court now, according to the New York Post. Now we really know Ross will be there for you when the rain starts to pour.
