Days of Our Lives: 8 More Key Characters Set to Return in 2025
Several familiar faces are returning to Salem to help celebrate Days of Our Lives‘ 60th anniversary.
While it’s already been reported that supercouple Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) are heading back to their old stomping grounds, we can now add a few more names to the list: Carrie Brady (Christie Clark), Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal), Will Horton (Chandler Massey), Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley), Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis), Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) and Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) will also appear in episodes beginning in June 2025, TV Insider reports. Because of the Peacock soap’s advance shooting schedule, those June episodes are currently being filmed.

“We always love it when members of our beloved family return to Salem,” Days executive producer Ken Corday tells the site. “Fans are really going to enjoy what we have in store beginning this fall and well into next year.”
This very exciting news comes on the heels of a tragic development for the Days family — the death of longtime cast member Drake Hogestyn, who passed on Sept. 28 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Hogestyn’s co-stars, some of whom worked alongside him for multiple decades, came forward with touching tributes of their time together.
The most emotional remembrance came from Deidre Hall, who plays Hogestyn’s on-screen wife Marlena Evans. “Drake loved what he did and adored and respected everyone with whom he did it,” Hall wrote in a statement. “Drake is dearly loved by everyone who ever knew him and he will be missed beyond measure. We will continue, as he always encouraged us, to swing for the fences.”
