Days of Our Lives Is Bringing Back Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso — When Will Bo and Hope Be Reunited?
Bo and Hope are together again!
Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso will return to Peacock’s Days of Our Lives for a “special story arc” in honor of the daytime soap opera’s 60th anniversary. According to TV Insider, which was first to break the news, Reckell and Alfonso are currently filming scenes for episodes that will air in May 2025. (TVLine will keep you posted once there is an exact air date for their first episode.)

“Just like riding a bike,” Reckell tells TV Insider of reprising Bo again. “And thank goodness they keep one at the ready for me in Salem. This ride is one we know the fans are really going to love. Stay tuned!”
Adds Alfonso: “There is a saying I love: ‘Life takes you to unexpected places but love always brings you home.’ Anyone who knows me knows how grateful I am to have all of you supporting me and welcoming me back when I’m back in Salem. These episodes with Pete will not disappoint.”
Reckell and Alfonso previously reunited on-screen in April 2023. Alas, that storyline ended when Bo was shot by his son Shawn; Reckell’s alter ego was last seen in a coma.
Alfonso, meanwhile, returned as Hope in 2024, as part of an on-air tribute to the late Bill Hayes (aka Doug Williams).
Days of Our Lives premiered on NBC in 1965, enjoying nearly six decades on the network before moving exclusively to Peacock in 2022. A spinoff series, Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem, also aired for two seasons on Peacock, before Days proper made the leap to streaming.
