The Week of September 16, 2024
There’s huge news on the casting front regarding a top supercouple from yesteryear. Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso, who began portraying Bo Brady and Hope Williams back in 1983, are returning to the show. (Check out the beloved twosome’s top 10 moments here.)
The pair are on set and filming a story arc that will air next May. Reckell and Alfonso last appeared on screen together in April of 2023. When last seen, Bo had slipped into a coma after being shot by his son, Shawn (Brandon Beemer).
James Read is back for another appearance as villain Clyde Weston. He airs in scenes opposite Stephen Nichols’ Steve on Thursday, September 19.
Tina Huang clocks back in as Melinda Trask. Look for the character, who’s being held captive by Connie (Julie Dove), to be featured heavily this week beginning on Tuesday, September 17.
Michael J. Craven turns up as a Salem cop on Wednesday, September 18. He’s involved in scenes with Jackée Harry’s Paulina.
