The Defenders: First teaser unveiled at Comic-Con
They’re all here.
Daredevil's Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Iron Fist’s Danny Rand (Finn Jones) will unite for Marvel’s The Defenders series in 2017 on Netflix, according to a new teaser unveiled during the Luke Cage panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
The teaser doesn’t show any new footage, but gathers together clippings of logos and key art from the four series. Eagle-eyed fans will spot headlines about the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen from Daredevil, binoculars and the Alias Investigations logo from Jessica Jones, bullet holes and a headline about the Seagate Prison, which held Luke Cage, and finally, a scrawled note wondering who Danny Rand could be, in honor of Iron Fist. The art could just be an easy way for Marvel to stitch together its four Netflix series’ logos -- or it could be a hint at how the four wind up together on a team. Could someone be pulling headlines on the superheroes of New York City? Could someone be cutting apart details on them to create a ransom note? And what’s up with that hand?
