Demi Moore Holds Court in Crystal-embroidered Armani Dress With Pleated Hips on 2025 Oscars Red Carpet
Demi Moore was dressed to impress at the 2025 Academy Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles. The actress, nominated for her work in “The Substance,” wore a custom Giorgio Armani Privé gown featuring crystal embroidery throughout, a plunging neckline and pleated hips that transitioned into a dramatic train.
The structural gown was styled with dramatic diamond jewelry, including a chunky bracelet and eye-catching earrings.

Moore has collaborated with Armani for “The Substance” promo tour throughout the awards season. She wore a strapless red dress from the brand at the movie’s premiere during the 2024 Cannes Film Festival and another sculptural Armani gown for the 2025 Golden Globe Awards. Moore also attended the Giorgio Armani Privé spring 2025 haute couture show in January.
Brad Goreski styled Moore for the occasion. They worked together during the entire press tour of “The Substance,” which also saw the actress in looks by Loewe, Chanel, Bach Mai, Oscar de la Renta, Balenciaga and Tom Ford, among others.
Moore debuted on the Oscars red carpet in 1989, notably wearing a bike shorts-and-corset combo. She attended the ceremony to present the Oscar for Best Cinematography alongside her then-husband, Bruce Willis.
The 97th Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars, takes place on Sunday at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Conan O’Brien is hosting the ceremony, honoring the best in cinema from the past year. Notable presenters include Halle Berry, Penélope Cruz, Scarlett Johansson, Oprah Winfrey, Cillian Murphy, Emma Stone and more.
