Demi Moore is giving an update on her ex-husband Bruce Willis's health amid his ongoing dementia battle. During an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show on Friday, the actress and Barrymore reminisced about working together on the 2003 film Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, in which Willis had a small role in the opening scene.

"When we did Charlie’s Angels, Bruce came and played on it, and he opens up the film, and we got to work with him,” Barrymore reminded Moore, who admitted she "totally forgot about that."

Barrymore proceeded to ask Moore, "How is he right now?" Moore, who was married to the actor from 1987 to 2000, replied: "Given the givens, he is in a stable place." She continued, "What I say to my kids is you meet them where they’re at. You don’t hold on to who they were or what you want them to be, but who they are in this moment."

“And from that, there is such beauty and joy and loving and sweetness,” Moore added. “When I’m in L.A., I go over every week, and I really treasure the time that we all share.”

In March 2022, the Willis family revealed that Bruce was stepping away from acting after he was diagnosed with aphasia, a communication disorder that affects the production or comprehension of speech. It can also affect the ability to read or write. Nearly one year later, Willis's wife Emma Heming announced that his condition had worsened to a "more specific diagnosis" of frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD).

Just a few weeks ago, Willis's daughter Tallulah gave an update on her dad's condition while speaking with People. Echoing a similar sentiment as her mom, Tallulah revealed that Bruce is doing "about the same," adding that "whatever kind of day it is, my family and I meet him where he's at."
