Did Donald Trump Jr. and longtime fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle break up?
Are President-elect Donald Trump’s oldest son and a former TV personality splitsville?
Donald Trump Jr. was spotted Monday night in Palm Beach, Florida, holding hands with local socialite Bettina Anderson amid questions about his relationship with fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle.
The Daily Mail snapped photos of Trump and Anderson strolling around Palm Beach and reported they were celebrating Anderson’s birthday at a swanky restaurant called Buccan.
A few hours later, the president-elect announced that he plans to nominate Guilfoyle as the U.S. ambassador to Greece. Guilfoyle, a former Fox News host, has not only been romantically linked to Trump Jr. She also campaigned extensively for the president-elect.
Neither Trump Jr. nor Guilfoyle responded to requests for comment.
Trump Jr., 46, and Guilfoyle, 55, have been dating since 2018 and have been engaged since 2020.
Guilfoyle was previously married to California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom when he was serving as mayor of San Francisco. She also worked at Fox News for more than a decade, co-hosted "The Five" and previously served as a prosecutor.
The Daily Mail, citing an unnamed source familiar with the family, reported Wednesday that the couple’s engagement is definitely off.
If that’s true, there seem to be no hard feelings. After his father announced Guilfoyle’s nomination to become ambassador, Trump Jr. posted a congratulatory message on X.
“I am so proud of Kimberly,” he wrote. “She loves America and she always has wanted to serve the country as an Ambassador. She will be an amazing leader for America First.”
