What’s new on Disney+ in September 2024

Due to some very obvious programming cutbacks, Disney+ just doesn’t have the same selection of original programming that it used to have. Thankfully, September will prove to be a rare exception. However, the only prominent shows that are really geared toward adults are the WandaVision spinoff Agatha All Along and the new season of Dancing with the Stars.

For younger viewers, Disney+ is hitting the bricks … the Lego bricks, that is. First, a handful of fan-favorite Pixar flicks will be reenvisioned in LEGO Pixar: BrickToons before the Star Wars universe gets a wild reboot in LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy. And when we say wild, we mean it. What other program would dare to bring Jar Jar Binks back as a dark lord of the Sith?

Unfortunately, if you want a more complete streaming experience, then you may want to consider getting Hulu to supplement Disney+. It’s not as if the latter hasn’t been heavily promoting Hulu’s shows as if they were Disney+ originals. But the only way you’re going to be able to enjoy Hulu series like Only Murders in the Building on Disney+ is if you subscribe to both streaming services.
