Don Cheadle defends 'Endgame' co-star Brie Larson after haters attack her 'psycho' body language
While her latest film, Avengers: Endgame, is dominating the box office, Brie Larson is dominating the thoughts of some critics.
A video of a press junket interview featuring Larson and co-stars Chris Hemsworth and Don Cheadle has hit YouTube, with commentary picking apart the Oscar-winning actress’s body language. The analysis is from Bombard’s Body Language, a site run by self-proclaimed body language expert Mandy O’Brien, who has been accused of showing conservative political bias in her videos.
O’Brien had a lot to stay about Larson, who plays Captain Marvel in the new blockbuster film. Though Cheadle tells the interviewer that Larson “fit right in” on the Endgame set, their sarcastic bantering is evidence of “open disgust” and proof that they don’t like each other, according to the body language commentary.
While O’Brien calls Cheadle and Hemsworth “relaxed,” Larson is accused of coming across as domineering by appearing “stiff” and “trying to be taller than these gentlemen.”
“She is really trying to dominate them,” O’Brien says when Larson sits up and tilts her head up. “I guess in her mind, domination equals acceptance ... In reality, submission will get you a lot further in friendship circles than trying to dominate and boss everyone around.”
And when Larson proudly acknowledges doing her own stunts, she’s blasted as being “unprofessional” and immature. The video even bleeps out an expletive O’Brien uses to describe the actress, who is known for her fiercely feminist views.
Larson is also accused of flashing “bedroom eyes” at Hemsworth because, O’Brien says, she wants him to “validate” her by liking her and thinking she’s “pretty.” Later, the star is chided for her “slow blinking.”
The video commentary made waves on social media, with one troll who shared it online urging viewers to “see how much of a psycho [Larson] is.” The Twitter user tagged Cheadle, who quickly slammed the negative remarks about his co-star.

The Oscar-nominated star, who plays War Machine in the Marvel franchise, called the analysis “some of the funniest stuff I’ve ever heard.” He explained that Larson’s “stiff” posture was also down to making her hairstylist’s life easier.
🤣 this is some of the funniest stuff i've ever heard ... brie was trying to keep her ponytail behind her because her hair stylist kept flying in and fixing it. she's actually being OVER accommodating ... amazing ... https://t.co/cJtHRUMSSQ

Fans also threw support Larson’s way, and thanked Cheadle for speaking up.
Wow, poor Brie having to deal with all these nonsense hate. I hope she doesn't see most of it. She's so amazing, I really don't get it.

I don't know why I watched that...but it's not super weird to tilt your head up when someone is taller than you and you're looking at them and look down at someone a little more slouched in their chair? Maybe I'm just simple.
