Donald Glover postpones Childish Gambino tour a day before his Austin show at Moody Center
Donald Glover, aka Childish Gambino, took to social media on Sep. 9 to announce that he will be postponing the remainder of his North America tour dates to focus on his physical health. The unexpected message comes just one day before the rapper was set to perform at Moody Center with WILLOW on Sept. 10. Glover was also scheduled to perform at American Airlines Center in Dallas on Sept. 11.
Glover takes to Twitter announcing his tour postponement
“hey everyone. unfortunately i have to postpone the rest of the north american tour to focus on my physical health for a few weeks. hold onto your tickets,” Glover shared on social media. “ALL tickets will be honored for the upcoming dates in north america when they are rescheduled. thanks for the privacy. thanks for the support. thanks for the love.”
Childish Gambino show at Moody Center is TBD
Glover, who was expected to take stage at Moody Center on Tuesday, is now postponing his scheduled shows due to medical reasons with new dates “to be determined.” According to Moody Center’s website, fans who have already made a purchase “are encouraged to hold on to their tickets as they will be honored for the rescheduled date.”
