Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa reunite for divorce court amid report of his quickie engagement to Kimberly Guilfoyle
Donald Trump Jr. and his soon-to-be ex-wife, Vanessa, put on a united front Thursday for a divorce hearing in New York City. But as they work to make their split final, there are reports that he’s ready to marry his new girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle.
Trump Jr. and Vanessa, who are parents to five children, arrived at the courthouse and walked inside together for the hearing in front of State Supreme Court Justice Michael Katz. According to the Associated Press, the hearing was short and sweet — just 10 minutes long — and included praise from the judge to the couple for working out custody details, which protected the kids from “what could have been an invasive legal process.”
During the proceedings, Trump Jr.’s lawyer Norman Heller said the pair expects to resolve their financial issues within weeks. The former couple, who filed for divorce in March after more than a decade of marriage, initially had an uncontested divorce, but it later became contested. (Vanessa’s family reportedly received a windfall of money around the time of their split from investing in a marinara sauce company.)
The couple’s seemingly amicable split is a contrast from his parents’ so-called Divorce of the Century, but he’s already moved on in a big way with former Fox News personality Guilfoyle. In fact, earlier on Thursday, Radar Online — which is part of American Media Inc. and owned by President Trump’s pal David Pecker — reported that they will soon be engaged. The tabloid claims Guilfoyle, who recently took a job as vice chairwoman for the pro-Trump PAC America First, has a new sparkler that she wore to an event with Trump Jr. this week.

However, this is actually fake news, according to a spokesperson for the Trump Organization. “This is not true,” a rep tells Yahoo Entertainment.
Tying this all together is the fact that Trump Jr., Vanessa, and the twice-married Guilfoyle go way back. When Trump Jr. and Vanessa were married, they hung out with Guilfoyle on several occasions, which should make holiday dinners a little less (or more?) awkward.
